Naomh Feichín GAA committee and members wish to extend our sincere sympathies to Mary; their children Fionnuala, Emer, Claire, Eoin and Mark; sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, their six grandchildren, extended family, friends and former colleagues at the Bank of Ireland on the passing of Dave.
Dave was a valued member of Naomh Feichín Clifden Gaa Club, having served as an officer at both underage and adult level, together with roles in team management. During the period 1985/90 he did trojan work in the development of our playing fields and clubhouse at Hospital Road. He has been greatly missed by our club over the years due to his long illness.
Dave was an accomplished Gaelic footballer and hurler. He won County Championships with St Michael's of Galway city at Under-16 and Under-18 level, as well as a Senior League title. As a hurler he won an All Ireland B senior college medal. May his kind and gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh an anam dílis.
