Due to increasing rates of Covid-19 infections, especially in Galway, the County Board has issued additional guidance today.

The following should not attend training or matches:

Anyone who is suffering Covid-19 symptoms (as per the updated health questionnaire on ClubZap). Please seek medical advice.

Anyone waiting on the results of a Covid-19 test.

Anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19 regardless of vaccination status. Please observe the 10 day isolation period.
Anyone living in a house where someone has tested positive or is awaiting test results. Please observe the 14 day isolation period if someone in your household tests positive.

Activities such as lift sharing, parties, and sleepovers have been identified as recent causes of community transmission.

Anyone who has returned from abroad should observe the government recommendations relating to that country and any stopovers on their journey.

People are infectious before they are symptomatic and people without symptoms & who don't get sick can still transmit Covid-19 to others.

Thanks to everyone who has been following the public health and GAA guidance. Please continue to be cautious and if you have any questions or concerns please contact our Covid-19 Officer Ronan on 086 2064694
